Really though, The Pronger should have won the Conn Smythe...except for those last two stinkers....See folks, here is where having two teams comes in handy. Though I was happy that the Flyers were in the Final, I wasn't completely emotionally invested. That decreased emotional investment has saved me from a lot of pain this morning! Bummed that they lost, but not heartbroken. Yay me and my messed up fandom.
Seeing the Pens lose this year honestly made me happier than anything else that happened after that! Seeing the Pens win the Cup last year, and seeing Sidney woohoo with the Cup made me more sick to my stomach than seeing the Hawks hoist the Cup in our barn. I know that makes me a bad Flyers fan, but I can probably live with that.
